President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon signed the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “About Electrical Communications”

Yesterday, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, signed a number of laws, one of which was the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “ About Electrical Communications”.

We remind you that 19.04. 2023, amendments were made to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “About Electrical Communications” in the Parliament of the country under the chairmanship Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda.

The draft Law in the new edition obliges the relevant structures and bodies to create a modern legal framework to address existing issues, ensure information security, and also taking into account the achievements and developments in this area on a global scale.

The draft Law in a new edition in pursuance of the instructions and orders of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, who, in his Message dated December 23, 2022 “On the main directions of the domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan”, related to the increase quality of services, reducing the cost of mobile communications and Internet services and ensuring the availability of high-speed Internet in all regions of the country.

It should be noted that in the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in order to implement the tasks set in the field of telecommunications, a permanent working staff has been created, consisting of specialists and representatives of the Communications Service, mobile communication companies, and Internet providers.
