Signing of a memorandum between the Communications Service and “Huawei Technologies of Tajikistan” LLC

On December 12 of this year, a Memorandum was signed between the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Huawei Technology Tajikistan LLC.

This document was signed by Beg Sabur, Head of the Communications Service and Ma Tian, General Director of Huawei Technology Tajikistan LLC in the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

This document covers bilateral cooperation in the field of digital technologies, telecommunications, communications and information and communication technologies, and will also actively support the development of telecommunication networks and systems, especially mobile communication networks and fixed broadband access networks in the Republic of Tajikistan.

Within the framework of the provisions of this Memorandum, cooperation and involvement of specialists from communication services, mobile operators and specialists from Huawei Technology Tajikistan LLC is provided for in the development of a single project to update, develop and provide 7600 base stations and their components GSM/UMS/ LTE/5G standards are presented for mobile communication networks Republic of Tajikistan. Exchanges and joint research trips to study sites are among other provisions of this document.
The Memorandum strengthens the multifaceted cooperation between mobile operators of the Republic of Tajikistan and Huawei Technology Tajikistan LLC, and its main goal is the implementation of the Communications Service Plan under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the renewal and development of mobile communications networks in the period 2024-2028.
