Holding an event in the Communications Service dedicated to the Professional Day of communications workers
Today, the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a solemn conference dedicated to the professional day of all communications workers – May 7, in which communications workers from all over the country took part in person and online.
The event was attended by employees of subordinate structures of the Service, mobile communication companies, providers and a number of employees of local structures of the Communications Service. At the same time, guests from other ministries and departments took part.
The event was opened by the head of the Communications Service, Beg Sabur, who said that the communications industry in the country was developing rapidly with the direct attention of the founder of peace and national unity, the leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. In this regard Beg Sabur also stressed that in response to these concerns and the constant attention of the country’s leadership, communication workers should show dual responsibility.
Guests and participants noted that the development of modern technologies has significantly increased the role of communication for the development of all other areas.
Therefore, it is impossible to imagine the rapid development of the modern world without progress in the field of communications.
Number of employees in the field of communications from CJSC open form “Tajiktelecom”, State Institution “Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radio Monitoring”, State Institution “Post and Tajik”, State unitary enterprise “Special Communications” State unitary enterprise «Brand center», government agency « State field service », government agency “Department of Housing and Utilities” communication service departments in cities and districts of Sughd region, Khatlon region, Badakhshan Mountain Autonomous Region, District of republican subordination with an honorary degree “Communication Master” were awarded.
Along with this, several employees of mobile companies were awarded the honorary title of “Master of Communications”.
Every year, May 7 is celebrated as the Day of Radio and Workers in All Spheres of Communications. We remind you that on May 7, 1895, Russian physicist Alexander Popov invented the first radio device.
This unique invention marked the beginning of the development of wireless communications.
This day was first celebrated in 1925. It has been celebrated annually since 1945.
